WC Engineering specializes in the development and fabrication of performance parts for the 4-cylinder Lotus Esprits and early Toyota MR2 automobiles. We are particularly known for turbo upgrades and custom engine work. Company founder John Welch tweeks and races his own 1991 Lotus Esprit SE and 1987 Toyota MR2 Turbo. He works with many other club racers to further develop and enhance their high-performance cars. Many of the companys performance upgrades are available for purchase as kits, complete with detailed, illustrated instructions. John is an accomplished mechanical technician, an experienced road racer, and has worked as the Data Engineer on a professional CART team.
